“Good morning, children…”
Check out the newly-released teaser for “Stranger Things 4,” which features an enigmatic peek at the much anticipated fourth season of Netflix’s hit sci-fi horror series from the Duffer Brothers.
While peppered with clues for fans to decipher, the teaser footage appears to be taking place in the Hawkins Laboratory where we see a room of children. They are seemingly the subjects of scientific experiments that look like to be orchestrated by Dr. Martin Brenner aka “Father” (played by Matthew Modine in the first season).
Is this a flashback sequence? The footage ends with a close-up shot of a locked door with the label that reads “11” and then an extreme close-up of eyes that seem to belong to a young girl.
“Eleven, are you listening?”
This teaser is hinting that Season 4 might be delving into Eleven’s mysterious past — the origins of where she originated from and how she got her telepathic and psychokinetic powers. Season 3 ended with Eleven losing her abilities. Season 4 might show her trying to restore those powers. After all, she will definitely need them to break Jim Hopper out of a Russian gulag.
“Stranger Things 4” doesn’t have an official release date. But this teaser might have some hidden indicators to when we might expect to see the gang back in action again.
When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl…
