Luca and his best friend Alberto are having an unforgettable summer in a picturesque fishing town near the Italian Riviera. But something is fishy with these two. Really fishy…

Check out the official full-length trailer for Disney and Pixar’s new animated fantasy-adventure film “Luca,” which centers on the endearing friendship of two young boys who are trying to conceal their real identities — they are blue-colored humanoid sea creatures from the ocean.

Featuring the voices of Jacob Tremblay (Good Boys, Room) and Jack Dylan Grazer (IT, Shazam!) as Luca and Alberto, the coming-of-age film hails from Enrico Casarosa, the Italian-born animation filmmaker who made 2011’s Oscar-nominated animated Pixar short “La Luna.”

The Pixar film also includes the voices of comedians Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan, and Emma Berman as an Italian girl who befriends Luca and Alberto.

“Luca” was originally set to be released in theaters this summer, but will now premiere exclusively on the streaming service, Disney Plus, beginning on June 18th. Watch the new trailer, above.

Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film LUCA is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta, and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.
