Check out the first official teaser trailer for “Last Night in Soho,” the noir-tinged psychological thriller from director Edgar Wright, of “Baby Driver” and “Hot Fuzz” fame.
The upcoming film stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit, The Witch), Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit), Matt Smith (Doctor Who, The Crown), Jessie Mei Li (Netflix’s Shadow and Bone) with veteran thespians Rita Tushingham and Terence Stamp. The movie also features performances by the late, Margaret Nolan (Goldfinger) and the late, Diana Rigg (Game of Thrones).
Co-written by Edgar Wright and “1917” scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns, the film follows a young aspiring fashion designer (McKenzie) as she mysteriously enters 1960s London, where she encounters her idol, a dazzling club singer (Taylor-Joy). She soon realizes that reality may not be real. She actually might be living in some kind of dream world where she has woken up in the body of the singer.
“Last Night in Soho” is scheduled to open in theaters on October 22nd. Watch the trailer, above.
