Mark Wahlberg discovers he’s an “Infinite,” an ancient warrior who throughout the centuries has been reincarnated multiple times in this new action film from Antoine Fuqua, the director of “The Equalizer,” “Shooter,” and “Training Day.”

Wahlberg stars as Evan McCauley in Paramount’s new streaming feature film, for which an official trailer has been released. The action-thriller follows Evan as he learns he belongs to a secret society of reincarnated warriors who call themselves “Infinites.” They all retained memories of their multiple past lives, carrying over knowledge and fighting skills they learned generations ago. Naturally, these “Infinites” are being hunted down by unknown assassins.

The film, which is based on the novel “The Reincarnationist Papers” by D. Eric Maikranz, also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Liz Carr, Toby Jones, Dylan O’Brien, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, and more.

Though originally slated to open in theaters last summer but was delayed because of the pandemic, “Infinite” is now being released exclusively on the new streaming service Paramount Plus on June 10th. Watch the official trailer, above.
