Check out a new sneak peek trailer for the upcoming action-comedy sequel “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard,” starring Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson, with Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman.

Reynolds is once again playing Michael Bryce, who was once the greatest bodyguard in the world. But he is now emotionally wrecked. And he is soon ordered by his therapist to go on a much-needed sabbatical because of the traumatic events he experienced in the original 2017 film.

But Michael Bryce is called back into action when infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid (Hayek) literally pulls him away from his vacation for a deadly quest to save her kidnapped husband, the notorious hitman Darius Kincaid (Jackson). The unlikely trio soon finds themselves on a risky mission to save Europe from a powerful psychopath (played by Banderas) who not only has one but multiple torture chambers at his disposal.

Co-starring Frank Grillo, and Richard E. Grant, “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” is again directed by action helmer Patrick Hughes (The Expendables 3, Red Hill).

The film opens in theaters on June 16th.

synopsis:
The world’s most lethal odd couple — bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) and hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) — are back on another life-threatening mission. Still unlicensed and under scrutiny, Bryce is forced into action by Darius’s even more volatile wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid (Salma Hayek). As Bryce is driven over the edge by his two most dangerous protectees, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman (Antonio Banderas).
